If you like to tinker and the trailer is structurally sound, buy it.  You 
can't even buy a decent pop up tent camper for $2000.  Anything that you own 
that is 30 plus years old is going to need fixing though, and you have to be 
prepared to do some when you buy a vintage Airstream and have a proper tow 
vehicle to go with it.
