My wife is a crafter and she uses a product call
"UNDO" which is formulated to remove labels and
decals.  It softens the adhesive that holds the
decals.  Once the liquid evaporates the adhesive
retains its original properties, so any adhesive left
on the trailer would need to be wiped off while it was
liquified otherwise it will leave a sticky area where
the decal sat.  She buys this from the craft stores
and it is in some grocery stores.
