[A/S] Re: an idea for newbies

While I hate to give up, (for a time), the worst verse thread may I make a
suggestion regarding both spouses being able to handle the rig? When I
bought my trailer a couple of years ago I had the seller show me the entire
hook up, set up procedure. My wife, the organized school principal, took
several pages of notes. After going through the procedure a few times
myself I broke the process down into steps. I then typed each step onto a 3
by 5 card. I arranged the cards in what I thought was the most logical
order and put them into a three ring notebook. Over time I found that I had
left out a step or two but it was a simple matter to type a new card and put
it into the proper sequence. Now my wife, who does sometimes drive, feels
much more confident that she could get us home if I was unable to help.

As a further help I took pictures of the various hitch parts, propane
valves, etc. with the idea that if any of my sons wanted to borrow the rig
they would have an even better reference guide.

Perhaps this will give some other newbies an idea.
