I was away from my computer for four days and am just trying to work my way
through 440 posts that were received while gone.  Someone may have already
answered this and if, so, I apologize for duplication.

Those small lights on the street side of your trailer are taillight
indicators.  They can be seen in your outside rear view (towing) mirrors
and, if glowing red, show the driver that is trailer taillights are lighted.
