Thanks for the information.  I don't know why *all* cellphones aren't 
made that way; short sightedness, I guess.  My ATT Digital OneRate is 
a great service, but you have to get a digital modem - expensive - 
and cable to use it, since digital currents are higher than analog, 
and would fry your computer modem.
