I have used light oil (3 in one) it cuts the moan for a day or so. On our 3/4 
day weekends we start out quiet but the return trip is another story. Can't 
say I notice any difference in sway. I have also heard that the oil does 
something to the steel to weaken it. Can't say I'm a metallurgist but it 
doesn't sound right to me.
