We were at Sunshine Key for a month - just south of Marathan.  A really great 
park - part of the Encore system - but pricey.  It's on it's own key 
surrounded by water.  They have a marina, dive shop, convenience store and 
service station.  My husband rode his bike to the bridge to fish and I went 
scuba diving.  If we go back to the keys in the future, we will stay there 
again.  Also had phone service turned on while we were there.

Incidentally, we found a great park in southern Miami that is reasonable.  
It's the Larry and Penny Memorial Campground - about a mile west of the 
Florida Turnpike Exit 13.  A well-maintained county park with full hook-ups, 
nice laundries, and nicely spaced sites.  Only $19 a day - which is dirt 
cheap for Florida during the winter.
