Re: [A/S] Airstream Dealers

Harvey. Thanks for the input on Alton and Sims. Recently, the subject of where
to "properly place a jack" for lifting purposes was discussed. Sounds like
some dealers don't have a clue where it's at. I agree, many types of damage
can and does occur when a coach is not lifted correctly. I wonder how many
people would shrug their shoulders, if they saw how we take a 30 shell off
the chassis and later on put it back, without damage. It's all about knowing
how. Unfortunately, sometimes, well intended advice is not heeded, and then
the fun starts. Harvey, if your ever around our neck of the woods, please
stop by, and watch us remanufacture an Airstream trailer, from the ground up.
It's really not that difficult, but more so challenging.
Sometimes dealers get a bad rap when they shouldn't and other times, they
don't get a bad rap when they should. Ah well, who ever said life was fair.
Thanks again. Andy
