[A/S] Re: Where to keep A/S
By all means keep it at home. Sit in it when ever possible, tinker
with each and every system and get to know your A/S inside and out.
Not only will it make tavel/use easier...it's the only treatment for
A/S fever. Being too far from your A/S has been know to lead to
additional purchases.
You need a firm level parking area. You'll want to run your fridge
for a day before you go anywhere, som it has to be near level. You'll
wash your A/S more than you use it, so it has o be a firm footing.
If there many methods used to keep insects and varmits out, search
old postings. I sreen all airvents and opening to keep mice out. I've
never had a ant problem, but I've seen suggestions on this list.
Tire covers are a good idea if stored in direct sunlight. UV rays dry
the sidewalls and they crack. I don't use covers but use a tire
dressing spray each time I wash the A/S.
Being a neighbor of yours, Trail OR, I hope we get to meet soon.
