Hi,

I know that you are in an entirely different area of the country than I am,
but out here in the East, 18X20 all metal carports go for $595 installed.  I
added a few feet height at $50 a foot.  Unfortunately, I hadn't planned on
the purchase of the A/S before I got my most recent carport.  In now have
three of these units.  One in front of my single car garage so I'll have a
place to park my car.  Another that I've enclosed to protect stuff from the
weather. And another that I park my van under.  Fortunately, at 22 feet
wide, it handles my van and the trailer handily.  However, it's only 20 feet
in length and that's not enough to give the ends of the the 20 foot body of
my Safari 23'.  I paid $1500 dollars for the carport due to the extra
bracing for snow load.  Look around your area for installers of all metal
carports.  They make an incredibly low cost cover for your A/S.

I'll try to post a picture to the files so you can see what I'm talking
about.
