[A/S] The new addition is home!

Hi all. Thanks so much for all your suggestions in bringing the new baby
home. Husband and Globetrotter arrived last night after an uneventful
(thank god) trip from Sequim, Wa to SF, Ca. I have spent the better
part of the day cleaning the trailer and trying to asses the scope and
nature of the project that faces me. The truly fabulous news is that the
owners were all packrats and so I have the original manual and all of
the information about the appliances. The bad news is that it looks as
if one of the previous owners fancied him/herself a plumber. So far I
have a fabulous 1964 19' globetrotter with a few issues...

1) the toilet is gone, (yes I mean gone). It also looks as if the pump
was replaced with a non-standard model it is clearly not the pump that
is illustrated in the manual and has been installed where the toilet
should be. Is there a recommended replacement toilet for this trailer?
It has the plastic box covering over the toilet and so the dimensions
may be an issue.
2) the electrical system is Univolt and we are trying to decide if this
is a good thing. I would love to elicit comments as to the various
opinions on the list. We are planning to do back country camping and
will have solar panels.
3) the dolly wheel that was included does not fit....Is there a supplier
of these things?
4) The awning is either missing or was never installed. Are the awnings
that are available and that fit?
5) the burners on the range work but the oven does not. This is the
original range. Is there some typical problem that causes these to
fail? Or maybe I have not figured out how to light it?
6) They had it clear coated and it is now peeling....can I remove the
clearcoat and if so can I use the information about polishing to do so?
7) The interior is all Zolatone, not painted aluminum. Can the Zolatone
be removed? If not what is the best way to clean it. I have been
scrubbing all morning and it is sill pretty manky...

thanks! As you can all tell, I am just a little bit excited!!! 8-)
