Hi Doug,

Wow, that was some drive home for a newbie, glad you got there in one piece.

I was using my cruise control quite a bit out west and wasn't happy with the 
results on hills.  I mentioned it to a Ford dealer when the truck was getting 
an oil change.  He about had a fit, said only use the cruise control on FLAT 
land.

So, that's what I've done ever since.
