Hi Jim. Just one of those little 'tricks of the trade" that most people 
appreciate since it saves them money. And we all need to do that now, 
especially in the west, where the electricity rates have become "shocking". 
Some even say that the newer rates and rates to be, are more lethal, than the 
electricity itself.  The shock brackets will not bend in use, nor will they 
bend any further, once they are intentionally bent for ease of placing 
shocks.  Andy
