RE: [A/S] Air Conditioners

My uncle, the original owner of the 1961 Tradewind I now have, had a system 
he used on his first 2 tow vehicles he used with it (~61 Chevy station 
wagon, and a 65 Ford SW). He ran a water line from the A/S water tank 
(pressurized tank) to a quick connect by hitch. He then ran the line to the 
top front of the radiator. There was a tube across the top with spray 
nozzles spraying on the AC condenser/ radiator. He had a halve by the 
drivers seat to turn it on. If he was pulling a hill or engine temp started 
to rise, he would turn it on. He said it knocked the temp down quickly.
