Hunter. Spraying water on the condensing coil of any air conditioner, will 
immediately  cause the head pressure to drop. Therefore, the AC works more 
efficiently. When the AC runs by itself, the water from the evaporator is 
discharge and not used for anything other than to cause a puddle of water 
along the side of your Airstream. Also the current draw will drop, which 
saves electricity.   Lori
