Very funny story. (In your house.) When I read your original message to Judy, 
I showed her the picture of the dish drainer. She saw the rat right off and 
couldn't believe it was on your counter. She IS NOT a rodent lover at all. In 
fact she is paranoid about them! We live in citrus country and are surrounded 
by groves and many wild citrus trees. Prime country for citrus rats. We see 
them all the time when we bushhog the pasture. She worries all of the time 
that one will get in the house. Thanks for the explanation. Enjoy your rat.
