We have a 1977 31' rear bath Airstream and have been using it full time for almost a dozen years. We
don't have the sag problem, but we don't tow with waste water in those tanks either.
One look at the rear bath floor plan and it's obvious no additional weight should be carried back
there. Anyone who didn't sleep through their high school physics class would know that.
The large bathroom is indeed a major convenience for many people. If a rear bath fits your needs,
buy it. If a sag needs the factory fix, do it (but deduct the cost of it [$1500] from the asking
price before you buy the rig). Some Airstream dealers do the job right, but that's another thread.
Enjoy the trailer and don't tow with your waste tanks full <grin>.
