[A/S] Last Night's Diary

Hi Gang,

Well, I'm baaaack!!  After packing all the last minute things and checking 
email one more time I hitched up the trailer, said goodbye to the horses and 
pulled out of the driveway. Robert, the housesitter, was watching me hitch up 
and I had pulled out at about a 70 degree angle so I wasn't sure I could 
hitch back up... what a relief, it went right in on the first shot.

As I drove down I-75 I could feel the hassles of owning a home, the 
responsibilities just washing away. I was free again.  Just me, the dogs, the 
cats and the Airstream....oh, and my truck Bruiser. No cares, no 
responsibilities.... 

The day has been totally uneventful, I stopped at a rest stop and walked the 
dogs and grabbed lunch.  I'm at a Coast to Coast Resort tonight.  The good 
news is it's $6.00 a night because of my membership.  The bad news is the 
water is shut off.  My trailer was winterized in Knoxville and I need to hook 
up to water to run all of the potable antifreeze out.  

I've been relaxing, watching tv, walking the dogs.... the place is nice, 
mostly wooded, big pines trees.  Not many people here...... it's been 
delightful.

Tomorrow night we'll stay in Unadilla, GA...another Coast to Coast Resort.  
Then Thursday we will cross into Florida!!!  

It was so warm today I had the air conditioning on in the truck.

So, that's all... just a happy camper tonight.
