find it hardest to do when someone is watching, worse if they are helping.

Did I tell you guys about the man I met in Lubbock?  He and his wife were 
camped next to me.... and near Don.

They pulled in, he was driving a pickup towing a huge trailer with a Hensley 
Hitch. The wife was driving a car. (???)

He unhooked, spotted Don's and my Hensley and came over to us and said he was 
busy, but would be back to give us some pointers on how to hitch up our 
Hensleys.

I was slack jawed. Don and I just looked at each other while the expert 
walked away.

Later we got our lesson.  Get this... He had taken the hitch bar (the male 
end) and had it filed to a sharp point.... then he showed us how he put a 
Day-Glo orange circle on the point and another on the female end of the 
Hensley. Then he had a mirror set up he applied to the hitch so he could 
watch the circles align. OKay, nothing wrong with any of this... I thought it 
was a bit of overkill myself as I don't need no steenkin' aids, but I was 
politely attentive.

Then I had to ask, why they had a truck and a car..... Here's the good part.  
The husband always drives the truck and pulls the trailer and the wife always 
follows behind in the car. They are fulltimers BTW.

Huh?  My mind boggled.  "Why?" I inquired.

The reason?  To keep the mileage down on the truck. /-:

So he and the little woman keep in touch by CB. Paying double gas, insurance, 
etc etc etc... to keep the mileage down on the truck.

It takes all kinds.
