Re: [A/S] Good Luck Hunter

Hey Hunter,

Enjoy your full timing and the freedom which
goes with it. Go everywhere, do everything,
enjoy life, and, by all means, winter where
warm weather rules (south of Lake Okeechobee
if you go to Florida).

Last night was our last one in Deming, New Mexico.
To celebrate the end of our lease, Mother Nature
visited in the wee hours and turned the water in
our hose to slush. Yuk! Guess it's time to roll.
We were done buying southwestern jewelry from
local silversmiths anyway. No reason to stay longer.

This morning, we left for Yuma and went all of
125 miles. Our daily travel mileage is seldom
very many. We tend to stop often and poke around.
Tonight, we're at Fort Willcox RV Park in
Willcox, AZ. Never been here before.

Guess who pulled in beside us with his hot rod?
He has a red, blue and silver striped vehicle.
Have you guessed yet?
It even has a back porch like on an old RV.
Have you guessed yet?

He's rolling east early tomorrow morning.
He left Yuma last week and is Texas bound.
Have you guessed yet?

Yup, none other than Tom Patterson with
his solid built 1966 Streamline Motor Home.
After a cook's tour, we had a short, but
enjoyable visit. That Streamline is an
outstanding motor home. Tom will have a
grand time bringing it up to date mechanically
while maintaining its vintage 1966 uniqueness.
It's unusual, yet extremely functional and the
design was probably ahead of its time back when
it was originally built.

Later this evening after I returned to our
Airstream, I got to thinking. What are the
odds for both of us choosing this particular RV park?

It's a smaller world than one might imagine.
Serendipity is abundant and never ceases to amaze me.
