Re: [A/S] Delaminating cabinet doors

Hi all,
Yes the polyureathane glue is the stuff ,bonds well ,no glue line.
However the stuff is evil ,healthwise. But anything that really sticks
usually is !
The rubber gloves are a good idea ,as is Plenty of ventilation ,for the
isocyanate used to regulate setting time is
very toxic, during the cure time , ,can not only give you cancer, but will
damage your lungs causing shortness of breath and respitory problems, after
repeated exposure, its cumulative... will soak thru your skin to same
effect. Read the label , although they put that info in the real fine
print. I`m surprized they sell the stuff to the public , Its the stuff that
killed all those folks in Bopal,India years ago went the tanks blew up ,
when used in car paint ,they wont sell to anyone but pro`s.
That being said ,its really good glue for wood, the best. Also its
sensitive to temperature, make sure your work area is 60 degrees + for 24
hours.
