I f you want to have success in regluing anything you have to remove yhe old 
glue so that the glue has a clean derface to adhear to. Is the face wood or a 
plastic laminate? if a plastic laminate  use contacr glue . But clean first 
the more stuff you use unsucessfly the more work it will be to clean up.
