Just bought a '83 Sovereign and had to replace the gears in the 
retractable antenna. No Problem, but I can't get any reception on my 
TV. I also have an external jack and have it hooked up to a different 
antenna and the TV works fine.
So, do I need a new antenna, or is there a modification available to 
make the AS antenna workable.
Thanx for all your help. Been reading all the posts and they are 
extremely helpful.
