Bob, Look at the relative lengths of wheel base. This factor will vary with tow vehicle/trailer combos, but leveling the tow vehicle is probably the best bet. It would seem that the critical factor is to avoid "lightening" or overloading the front wheels which depend on vehicle weight to keep alignment in spec. Matt
