[A/S] Propane tanks OPD valves and recertification

Yesterday I took one of my 12 year old 30# tanks to Godfrey Butane 
Company in Arlington, TX where they installed a new OPD valve, 
recertified it with new date stamp, and filled it all in about 15 
minutes. Valve $19.50, tax $1.50, 30# propane $13.50 - $34.50 total. 
I'm sure that there are other places around the country that will do 
the same so it isn't necessary to buy new tanks if yours are 
approaching 12 years old or don't have the new valves that have to be 
in place by April of 2001.
