So, Rich, since I have never hooked up a dish or cable yet, let me
see if I have got this down correctly.

1) I can run normal antenna function from the coax connector on the 
wall with the amplifier switch and light on.

2) I can access cable service through the same interior wall 
connection (amp off) and a cable source connected to the exterior
coax connector on the wall of the electrical cord box opposite the 
telephone jack.

3) I can access a dish if hooked directly to the dish/controller via 
coax, but not through the exterior cable connectors described in 2 
above.

If this is correct, then your A/B switch on A would provide access to 
the antenna or city cable service if available through the trailer's 
wairing, and on B directly to to your dish. Am I seeing this 
correctly?
