This is exactly the suggestion I got late last night, on the phone,  from the 
guy I bought a horse trailer from yesterday. I thought it was brilliant.  
It's what led me to go back outside and hook to switch tanks thinking one 
side wasn't working.

When I lfted the tanks to swich I realized they weighed the same... empty.  
When I had checked earlier one seemed much heavier than the other so I 
thought it still had gas in it.

It's frosty in here this morning.  54 degrees.... 24 outside.
