Gerald,

This may not matter to you but the extended cab trucks have a slot on the 
dash that allows you to insert your key and disable the front passenger 
airbag.  

The crew cab trucks do not allow you to disable the front passenger airbag.  
I had to disable my own.  Am now having an annoying problem.  The light 
stayed on for a year telling me the airbag needed servicing.  Then it burned 
out and now I have an annoying beep.......... It beeps 15 times in a row )c:{

One thing I don't like about the '99 & '00 Ford is the doorlock is on the 
armrest..... if I leave the dogs in the truck and lock the door there is 
always a chance that one will step on the armrest and unlock the door..... or 
rest his chin on it and unlock it.

I always carry a spare key in my pocket incase I'm standing next to the truck 
and one of the dogs locks me out.
