Hi Gang,

Since things are so slow I'll just chat..... today I drove from the Escapees 
Park north of Knoxville to my old hometown in South Carolina.

The Escapees Park is in Raccoon Valley... it's one of the nicest parks I've 
stayed at.

All of the people there, workers and campers are very nice.  One poor couple 
had their truck and trailer totalled.  They are homeless right now while 
waiting for the insurance company to pay them.  The park used to be a KOA and 
they put the people up in one of those little log cabins.  We had a French 
toast breakfast the other morning and all the proceeds went to the couple. 

As many of you know I'm buying the log cabin west of Knoxville.  I went 
appliance shopping the other day..... the stoves I like are a fortune... my 
favorite was a Heartland which came in at $4,000.00  Yes... four thousand!!! 
Yikes.  As I was cooking on my little trailer stove that night I realized I 
really like this little stove.  I wonder if anyone has ever put an RV stove 
in a house..... what the heck, they don't take up a lot of space and propane 
is propane. 

The drive here was uneventful.  I love the I-40 mountain drive from Knoxville 
to Asheville.  The trees still have leaves here....

So, here I am on a 140 acre horse farm..... I have power, water and a grey 
dump and best of all a phone line into the trailer...... yea! 

It's so windy the trailer is rocking...... reminds me of that night last 
spring in Oklahoma when I thought I would fall out of bed when a tornado was 
not too far away.... my roof mount satellite is even freezing every once and 
a while because of the wind.

I keep thinking, why am I buying a house?... I should be on my way to Florida.
