Bob, Instead of replacing the whole axle because you can't find brake parts,
purchase loaded backing plates. These will have all new brake parts and I'm
told that it is less expensive than buying the basic brake parts separately.
There was a post in the last couple of weeks about rims, perhaps someone can
explain to you how to access the archives.
