My '96 BVan has a heat strip on the air conditioner and it does just that -
takes the chill off nicely and saves on propane when you are hooked to 110.
If you want it warmer on a really cold night, then you turn the furnace on.
My furnace runs the battery down if I am boondocking (the fan is the culprit)
and leave it on all night. If I'm hooked up to a landline for 110, then I
have a good choice.
