RE: RE: [A/S] Another A/S dealer drops out
Nick, as you must know, the majority of new Airstream buyers are older
folks, most of whom are not interested in "camping" but in a comfortable,
plush home on wheels. That has been Airstreams target consumer for years.
Airstream has realized that these people are only part of the market, so
they have introduced the Safari line (including the Bambi). Since there have
been so many comments from people like you, Airstream has done even more to
cater to people like you and I who don't want a massive trailer, and likes
to "camp", by resizing and reworking the Bambi even further. Will Airstream
continue in this direction? Depends on how many people buy the Bambi. At
least Airstream is trying to adapt and expand their market share.
