Re: [A/S] Re: Rollover in SUVs, pickups and Suburbans
I don't think there is any question that the bigger the vehicle, the safer it
is. Ask anyone who works in an emergency room who walks away and who doesn't.
<The car must get at least 30mpg it must be sure footed easy to park and
reasonably safe . <SNIP>. Yes to pull my AS i have to have a larger vehicle
I drive them when nessary but they are sure no fun to drive as well as using
fule like it is going out of style. If fule prices continue to rise as I
think they will I think many will start to agan abandon their road monsters

Many of us will keep our road monsters because we pull our Airstreams with
them. My truck is also my daily driver. As expensive as cars are, then
insurance, property taxes, registration etc, maintenence.... for me it's much
cheaper to only own one big truck than to own the truck and a car. You can
buy a lot of fuel for a hungry truck with the cost of owning two vehicles.
