. is the skin in good shape.
    - top, sides and especally the belly pan
    -  is the entire body still sealled (around the tires , hitch)
. can you spot any water damage  --- ANYWHERE
    - behind the bed
    - inside the cabinates
    - under the couch
. does the floor feel spongey ???
    - near the front door
    - in the bathroom
    - around the water heater
. is the glass in good condition
    - no vapor or fogged windows
    - the frames aren't rotting away (pitted)

well there's a start....
when I go to look at a potential trailer --- i even go to the extent of
taking my own propane tank
to test out all the LP systems.
I also take along my generator to test out all the electrical
systems....
I've even taken a couple of 5 gallon cans of water to see if the
"pump/water" system works

it would also be nice to try out the septic system to see if there are
any obvious leaks,,, but haven't
been able to do that (yet)...

Another thought patteren is whether you are going to Keep the trailer
(and restore it),,, or just
to buy it,,,fix it up and sell it....

When it comes to a "keeper" i get pretty particular  --- i.e.  my next
trailer must have vista vue windows.
Most of the ones I have come across are cloudy,,, but I realize that if
it is the "right" trailer -- almost
anything can be fixed....
