     Since no one is volunteering to answer question #2 , and enough people 
have answered question #1 so many times I now have the formula 
memorized...E=mc2....{{{>:o)>    I will endever to answer question #2.......I 
finally moved my '53 into the barn to begin removal of the coach from the 
frame . The floor rot around the bathroom was so extensive that I was able to 
tear up enough flooring with out the use of tools to expose the frame.  This 
area is right behind the axel about where the shackles for the leaf springs 
mount. That is an ideal place for a grey water tank. It should keep stress 
off the frame and prvent but sag. However ; since my '53 is a single axel, I 
can't install too big of a grey tank because I could end up with the hitch 
pointing at the sky should I let the tank get too full and not have 
stablizers in place. The black tank and 2 (yes folks, 2 ) freash water tanks 
are located behind the wheel wells. It will be important not to have all 
tanks full at the same time. I don't want my AS pointing to the stars.  Tuna 
, I'm assuming you want to change your pipe frame to a ladder frame with the 
"pipe" used only for the tongue and hitch. I will continue on that assumtion.
    after I ripped up the floor in the throneroom area, I measured the space 
between the 4' frame channells and the ladder frame channels. I don't 
remember the exact size but it was something like  52'"L x 22"W x 4"D. I  
went to a local Ma & Pa RV supply and went thruogh thier tank catalogs untill 
I found a tank that would fit my criteria as close as possible and ordered 
it. ( I go to C.W. alot , but the Ma & Pa places are usually more patient and 
helpfull when it comes to hunting down things to adapt to "special needs " 
than the folks at C.W. Besides, I try to support my local small businesses ) 
I ended up with an 18 gal. tank. It will be sufficient for hand and some dish 
washing,but no long hot showers.  {{{>:o(>  I'm putting in a tankless hot 
water heater. Screw that 6-10 gallon take a fast shower crap. The decrease in 
weight from not having a hot water heater tank full of water will help off 
set the wieght of adding the grey tank. ( just trying to keep that happy 
ballance,folks)  
   The grey tank is 4" going to 6" at the opening side. There will be a small 
bulge at this area of the belly pan and that is where the 1 1/2 " plumbing 
will come out to meet up with the black tank plumbing.  I am going to install 
the belly pan over the grey tank and plumbing with Rivnuts so that the tank 
and plumbing can be accessed without removing rivets if mantenance is needed. 
The idea of riveting the bellypan and sealing it up like a Rolls Royce is a 
nice thought but, time has proven that concept foolish many times on many 
things over the years. I hope I never have to do mantenance but, if I ever 
have to...one less thing to make me cuss.  I have been taking pictures of 
what I am doing . However I'm not computer competent enough to make a web 
site or post or send pictures. I am also going to compleatly rewire the 
electrics into a 110 and seperate 12v with solar system. I don't see a reason 
for a 110-12v converter charger when adiquet solar can do the job. If i'm 
pluged in to 110 ,I dont need the 12v. If I need to charge the batteries with 
110 power ,then I allready have a good quality battery charger I carry with 
me anyhow for the car. 
    I hope this answered some of question #2. My typing finger hurts.
