RE: [A/S] door widths

This actually got me thinking (my wife has definite opinions on letting me
think) and remembering some of the older threads...specifically, whether the
roof would support the weight of a person. I think the answer was yes, with
reservations surrounding aluminum denting, etc..... in any case:

I have MS and am not disabled, but friends of mine ARE and I've seen some
pretty ingenious solutions to problems.... A wheelchair in a travel trailer
is gonna be an issue, as far as I'm concerned...there's just not that much
room. How's about a track-and-sling system? You could run tracks down the
center of the ceiling with a traveler affair and a sling/bosun's chair
attached. I KNOW this is possible. Then, maybe an extendable arm to stick
out through the open door and pick up a person, maybe with a come-along or
winch.....

Remember - someday you might need one of these... (said the prophet of doom)
:) and it could keep you traveling...
