 You cannot 'channel the grey water' through the black water tank. Look
at the plumbing near your dump valve and you'll see how it works.

Plumbing isn't Rocket Science, and if you really look at it, it's quite
obvious how it all works.  Although some plumbing is hidden, enough is
visible beneath the counters, in the cabinets and cubbyholes, etc. that
you can scope it out pretty well.

Unless you've done something stupid like leave your dump valve open
while connected to a sewer hookup, you should never need to really flush
out your black tank. Give it an extra dose of water before and after
dumping, and it'll be 'clean enough'.
