That plastic dome is a standard Airstream part on the models with
centerline showers.  It's the access cover to the trap.  

If you ever need to replace one, many AS dealers still have them,
otherwise a Plastics shop like Tap Plastics or Mr. Plastics can vacuum
form one using the old one as an example.   If just cracked, it can be
fiberglass repaired.
