[A/S] Suburban furnace

Today I removed my Suburban furnace.  It was held in by only the screws that
hold the intake/exhaust pipes to the skins!  I think the cabinet cover also
holds it in place.  Once these few screws were removed, the whole furnace came
right out of the case!

All my wiring looks old, and I will replace most of it.  

Here's something very interesting.  I removed the air adjusting cover and gasket.
 I poked my finger in there(because I was curious) and lo and behold, there
was a pile of something in there.  
I turned the whole thing upside down and started to shake it.  MAN...you wouldn't
believe the stuff that fell out of there.  First, it was just lots and lots
of black soot.  Then, solids!!  Yes, all the paper matches that had been used
in the last 31 years, and dropped, were still in there.  Wooden stick matches,
pieces of sticks, rolled up cardboard, and even a small lighter!!

I think I increased my chamber volume about ten percent! <g>

I removed the fan box.  There were some loose screws, so maybe this could have
been causing a leak somehow.

So..how available are the parts for this thing?  I will have to wait until Monday
to start calling around, but I want that rubber cup that fits against the outer
skin, it's pretty dried out, and the black foam gasket that is used to secure
the fan box to the combustion chamber.  I want to get new switches, microswitch..anything
I can to update this thing! Then, I'll re-install it and hope for the best!

It's a NT22A.  
I talked to "Cliff" at Oasis, in Arizona.  He is terrific!  He gave more info
than I would even know to ask for, and when I started asking hom about other
"hard to find" items, he gave me the number of other dealers!
He said the crossover replacement to this box is a NT24SP.  I might just do
that soon....although I have enough stuff "to buy!"

I looked this new furnace up..it's 600 bucks!!!24K btu.  That's a little more
BTU's than the original, at 22K, so I'm hoping for mine to be...right!

About that trap basket.  I first saw mine, when I had a plumbing drain leak.
 It was at the aft bulkhead, separating the tall closet aft of my stove, and
the bath tub enclosure.
 I had to remove the bulkhead to het at the 1 1/2 inch drain pipe.  While in
there, I could see aft, under the tub, and saw it for the first time.

I was going to cut out a larger section of the bulkhead, and make a cover for
access, but I figured I could do it when I HAD to!
