[A/S] Tow Capacity

Howdy All,

I am a perspective airstream buyer. A veritable newby.

I need some info.

I want to toss it all in and go on the road with my little family for 
9 months.

I have a 2000 Ford F-150 with the smaller triton v-8 and a manual 
transmission. It is extended cab.

I need some info.  

1) Do all airstream owners sleep some distance from their spouse? All 
I see in the ads is two twin beds in back.

2) How much trailer can my convential pick-up tow? It has the tow 
package and is four wheel drive.

3) As my family has travelled sixty thousand miles following work in 
the last four years we are real travellers.  However how little a 
trailer is going to work? 31 foot? Can the above pick-up drag such an 
airstream as a 31 footer?
