[A/S] The Fiberglass & The Toilet

The Plywood floor in the back of my 65 Trade Wind has rotted away. 
Also, It looks like many people have made less than steller attempts 
to "fix" this problem.  I plan a total rebuild. Question: how is the 
toilet supposed to fit up against the fiberglass sitting surface?  
Mine is currently just a raw fiberglass circle cut in the top with a 
seat pop rivited to it.
