Bob, just don't let it go unprotected/unpolished for too long. We get a mild acid rain here in Ohio. My '60 has always set outside here in Ohio and did not have any type of clear coat. I had the trailer polished and coated by P&S two years ago. It looks great from a distance, but if you really look at it you can see deep pits in the aluminum, not a big problem to me, but to someone who wants a mirror finish... Scott
