Terry, I added Firestone air lifts to my '94 Dodge 1/2-ton truck, including the on-board compressor. They worked so well that I've removed them and am installing them on the 'new' truck. It's nice to be able to adjust the spring action as required. Your advice to consider the weight of the 'stuff' you carry is well-taken.
