 Keep looking, and maybe expand the search radius. My wife used "200
miles", and the truck I bought was right at the edge of that distance.
I'm just north of Toledo, OH, and the truck was in Kentucky, just 11
miles from the Cincinnatti airport.

So far, I've had the A/C repaired, bought a spare wheel, bought and
installed a spare tire storage winch assy, and started on a full
service. I've changed the oil & filter in the transmission, adding a
fitting for the temperature guage while I was at it. Need to change the
rear end and engine oil and the antifreeze yet. Oh, I've also replaced
the air filter.

My $11,000.00 truck has now cost me maybe $400.00 that I wouldn't have
spent on a brand-new one, and I'll probably spend at least that much
more by the time I'm done. Although it looks pretty good, the bed has
some tar-like substance all over the inside and there's a hole in the
middle where a gooseneck trailer hitch was installed. That'll get a
half-assed patch job to keep stuff from falling onto the road; if I'm
concerned too much about the looks of the bed, I'll get a spray-in bed
liner installed.

An upside is that I don't have to be real concerned about putting a
scratch on the truck, I'd be scared to death of a new one. Heck, I don't
know if I could stand to install the guages on a NEW truck! (drill & tap
the exhaust manifold???!!!) <<grin>>
