You may want to check and see that this engine runs ok on unleaded gas. especially when towing. A quick fix is available in gas additives available at you local car parts store. The big fix is to have the heads rebuilt to use unleaded fuel. The 455 are a big tough engine and were used throughout GM's products in the late sixties and early seventies.
