Sorry for reincarnating it but, I am a warm weather pansy and do not anticipate extended stays in frigid climes. The catalytic heater that I am contemplating is made by Coleman and is most commonly used to heat family sized tents. It is about 12" in diameter and comes ready to use with gas cannisters BUT it is easy to adapt to an LP gas fitting in the Airstream. My plan, unless somebody comes up with a problem, is to mount this small catalytic heater on a swinging arm near the corner of the galley. I could then swivel it to control the heat direction. I have not yet tried the unit and would love to hear from anyone who has used it. Does it make any noise (ala Mr Heater :( or is it just a quiet glow :) Al o ha! Bob Kiger
