[A/S] Floor and awning

Hello folks, I have two questions. What is the thickness of the
flooring in my "57" Overlander. The floor I have removed is so 
delaminated I can't tell if it is 5/8" or 3/4". Question #2 is for
the Old Timers that remember how the canvas awning I found under the 
bed is erected, strung up or what. It is in great shape and has
beautiful blue and white stripes. It has six springs with lines
attached. There is a channel on the street side of the A/S that I
suppose the end of
the awning with the rope inserted in it slides into. Were there any 
poles with it originally to hold the outside edge up? Enough for this
time. Man! I'm finding all kinds of goodies in my Silver Palace!
