Two ideas come to mind: Get a catalytic heater that does not require an interplay between 110 for fan and LP gas for heat OR move south before winter hits :) Bob from sunny Oceanside PS The furnace fans are noisey anyway. Mine works fine and yet I choose not to use it because of the noise and electrical consumption. Every watt counts in San Diego.
