You need to remember that an inverter will draw approximately 10 times
the current from your battery as what it's putting out on the AC side.
Or, you can use the wattage figure for the fridge and divide by 12 to
find out the amp draw on the battery to feed the inverter.
So, if your fridge draws 100 watts, that means over 8 amps on the
battery side, or a bit more due to inverter ineffeciency. IOW: you'll
kill your battery(s) in fairly short order.
If you want to run the fridge while travelling, I'd suggest running it
on gas. Don't forget that the fridge must be level when you're stopped
or you'll ruin it. (makes no difference if it's on gas or electric)
