Re: [A/S] ZipDee Awning tension

Zip Dee's directions call for 1 turn per foot of awning length. For an older
one an extra 2-3 turns help it close a little better. When correctly wound
the awning should open and hold in position. A small shove should be all it
takes to start it rolling back up.
You will want to proceed carefully when rewinding your particular awning.
One of the common results of an awning that "got away" is the spring will be
unsprung and/or twisted on it's self.
Good luck.
